Amad has been named in Ruben Amorim's squad for United's Europa League semi-final first leg clash with Athletic. The winger was back on the training pitch at Carrington ahead of their trip to Spain, and could be in line to make his first appearance since February, when he sustained an injury before their clash with Tottenham. At the time, the injury was reported as being season-ending, but that does not appear to be the case.

In 36 appearances for United this season, Amad has contributed nine goals and eight assists so his potential return in Bilbao will come as welcome relief to Amorim. United are 14th in the Premier League table and their last hope of a successful season hinges on glory in Europe.
