Celtic supporters aren’t having the best of afternoons today after watching their side suffer a rare defeat in the Scottish Premiership at the hands of Kilmarnock.
The Hoops were far below their best during the 1-0 defeat, leading to a bit of soul searching once again this season.
The good news though is that their lead at the top of the table is still huge and isn’t set to be eaten into by Rangers, if the scoreline remains the same at Ibrox.
The Light Blues currently find themselves 2-1 down after Hibernian midfielder John McGinn scored an absolute screamer past Wes Foderingham in the first half, with the Edinburgh side going ahead again after winning a penalty moments after a Sean Goss equaliser.
If Rangers don’t respond with another goal of their own, with 15 minutes remaining at the time of writing, they’ll remain 14 points behind the reigning champions.
McGinn was reported to be a January target for Celtic but a move didn’t materialise, which sections of the Hoops support were happy with, with many not believing he has the quality to make an impact in Glasgow.
However his strike today has re-ignited calls from some to make him a Celtic player as soon as possible.
