According to Italian media outlet (h/t Football Italia), AC Milan are eyeing an Italian head coach for next season and have shortlisted the likes of Massimiliano Allegri, Maurizio Sarri, and Antonio Conte to take over from Sergio Conceicao, who arrived after Paulo Fonseca's sacking at the end of December 2024.

AC Milan are having a challenging season, sitting 11 points off the Serie A top four and likely to miss out on a Champions League spot. Despite hiring Conceicao in December, he has failed to improve the team's form, leading Milan to consider terminating his contract in June.
Speaking of which, the Rossoneri have a seven-man shortlist ready to revive the team and make them Serie A contenders once again. The club would ideally like to bring in Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, but the Italian has reiterated his desire to continue at the Bernabeu as long as the club keeps him.
Along with Ancelotti, Allegri, Sarri, and Conte, Roberto De Zerbi, Vincenzo Italiano, and Gian Piero Gasperini are also on Milan's radar.

The Portuguese manager will next be seen in the technical area when his side travels to Lecce on Saturday, March 8. Milan are currently on a three-game losing streak in Serie A, which has more or less crushed their hopes of finishing this season in the top four.
