Delap's future at Ipswich looks in doubt after a season where he's scored 12 Premier League goals for McKenna's struggling side. The striker's release clause is also expected to drop from a reported £40 million ($51m) to £30m ($38m) if Ipswich are relegated. The Tractor Boys currently sit in 18th place in the table and are a massive 12 points from safety.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been both credited with an interest in Delap ahead of the summer transfer window, while Newcastle and Tottenham are also thought to be keen on the 22-year-old. McKenna has been quizzed on the striker's future and admits he hasn't given up hope of convincing Delap to stay at Portman Road.
WHAT MCKENNA SAID
He told reporters: "It's not something that's been discussed loads internally at because everyone's focus, honestly, has been on Bournemouth, on Wolves, now on Chelsea. But if you ask me, is that a possibility? I think it's certainly a possibility. Liam's a young striker. He's developing really, really well at the football club. He's happy and he's improving every week and we're enjoying working with him. I'm sure there's lots of different possibilities. But Liam's an Ipswich player. He enjoys being an Ipswich player and that's where his full focus is."
GOAL WHAT NEXT FOR DELAP
Chelsea will get a chance to see Delap up close on Sunday when Ipswich take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
