United faced Sociedad on their way to the 2021 Europa League final, as well as in the group stage campaign in 2022-23. The Red Devils won twice, drew once and lost once across those four games.
Spurs, meanwhile, have already beaten AZ this season, with a Richarlison penalty settling a 1-0 win in the league phase. Mourinho will make his first return to the British Isles since being sacked by Tottenham with his Fenerbahce side's trip to Rangers in Glasgow.
