Per the Daily Mail, United are demanding £30m for Onana this summer, amid interest from Monaco in Ligue 1. The demand is too much for the principality club, however, and they will continue to monitor developments, although they are unlikely to make an offer while the price remains as it is.

While manager Ruben Amorim would prefer to sell Onana this summer, the report claims that the goalkeeper is more likely to remain at Carrington after returning to pre-season training. United hold an interest in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez but view deals at striker, central midfield and central defence as more of a priority.

Onana has a contract until 2028 and made 50 appearances in all competitions last season. However, the club finished 15th in the top-flight, and Onana kept nine Premier League clean sheets from 34 outings.
