Goalkeeper Sanchez, however, feels that despite the new signings, the old guards like Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez remain the key figures in the dressing, who can inspire the club to reclaim lost glory this season.
WHAT SANCHEZ SAID
Speaking to , Sanchez said: "Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernández are two amazing players. Palmer on the field is a role model, with impressive quality that can carry you through a match. He’s a star; he’s quiet. Enzo is different; he has quality and consistency, and off the field, he’s one of the captains.
"Enzo Fernández is young, but it’s not about youth; it’s about how you work and act day in and day out, and that’s why he deserves to be one of the captains. It’s a young team, but one that aspires to great things."
